The Minister of Oil quickly directs Aden’s supply of oil derivatives within 24 hours

The Minister of Oil and Minerals, Abdul Salam Abdullah Baaboud, instructed the Executive Director of the Aden Refineries Company, the Deputy Executive Director of the Yemeni Oil Company and the General Director of the Oil Company in Aden Governorate to supply the local market in the temporary capital of Aden and the neighboring governorates with petroleum derivatives in an urgent manner within a period not exceeding 24 hours.

The Minister held these authorities responsible for not working to exploit the quantities in the refinery tanks from petroleum products by not pumping and supplying fuel to the stations.
He directed the Aden Oil Company and Refineries to work side by side with the government to create supply stability in the capital, Aden, especially as the government is making every effort to stabilize and normalize the conditions in the temporary capital, Aden, since its return and the commencement of work from it, which left a positive impact on local, regional and international public opinion.

The minister stressed quickly pumping sufficient quantities to stations in Aden and neighboring governorates and ending the crisis within 24 hours, unless he will take the necessary legal measures for everyone who violates this.

These strongly-worded directives come from Minister Baaboud to confirm the minister’s seriousness in addressing the shortcomings and holding the negligent strictly accountable, in a gesture that the citizen has been waiting for some time to triumph for his suffering as a result of the fabrication of crises that affect the course of his life and his daily life.

A source in the ministry confirmed that the temporary capital, Aden, and the neighboring governorates had witnessed during the past few days a crisis in petroleum derivatives, and the stations had stopped supplying them, despite their availability in the stores of the Aden Refineries Company.
