The Minister of Oil and the Undersecretary of Wadi Hadramout inaugurate the building project of the Yemeni Oil Company, the Wadi and Desert Branch

His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Mr. Abdul Salam Abdullah Baaboud, and with him Mr. Essam Habrish Al Kathiri, Undersecretary of Hadramout Governorate for Valley and Desert Directorates Issam Habrish Al Kathiri inaugurated the Yemeni Oil Company building project, Wadi and Desert Branch, under the generous patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

At the opening ceremony, the minister congratulated Baaboud leadership and the employees of the oil company branch in the valley for the project, stressing the importance of making use of the building in raising the level of administrative work in a way that contributes to creating stability in supplying the local market with oil derivatives, indicating in his speech that the ministry will work to enhance the work of the Yemeni Oil Company In a way that contributes to stabilizing the supply of local markets, standardizing prices and working to reduce them as much as possible, directing in his speech to cancel illegal price increases in the petroleum and diesel subjects and to carry out an extensive technical and economic study for pricing oil derivatives to citizens, especially in light of the current circumstances in which the citizen lives.

In his turn, the Undersecretary of Hadramout Governorate for Valley and Desert Directorates Affairs Mr. Issam Habrish Al Kathiri congratulated the opening of the project, praising the level of implementation and the efforts made by the leadership of the company’s branch during the past period, praising the directions of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals in implementing the two strategic storage projects for the oil company and the gas station in Wadi Hadramout during The coming period, which will create sustainable stability in supplying the local market with oil derivatives.

 

And at the opening ceremony, the General Manager of the Yemeni Oil Company, Wadi and Sahara Branch, Abd al-Rahman Belfas, thanked and appreciated the Ministry of Oil and the Authority in Hadramout Governorate and the General Administration of the Oil Company for standing with the company in implementing its strategic projects, explaining that the project would provide an ideal administrative environment for the company’s employees and Opening horizons for implementing future projects.
The Yemeni Oil Company building project, Wadi and Desert Branch, consists of a building for the management of the company and a building for the sales department.

At the ceremony, a welcoming speech was delivered by the President of the Syndicate of Oil Company Employees, the Wadi Branch, Ahmad al-Sukkar, a poem by the poet Khalil Basif, and a documentary film that reviewed the implementation stages of the project and presented shields of thanks and appreciation from the Yemeni Oil Company branch in the Valley to the Ministry of Oil and the local authority in the governorate and administration The general oil company and the executing company of the project.

The inauguration of the project was attended by Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Al-Kathiri, a member of the Shura Council and the representative of Hadhramaut Governorate Salem bin Sharman, the governorate’s assistant agents, Eng. Ghaleb Mabkhout bin Ma’ili, Acting Executive Director of the Yemeni Oil Company, and Dr. Hadramout Dr. Khaled Al-Akbari and a number of directors of general directorates, executive offices, security and military agencies, and a number of social figures .
