Minister Baaboud and Governor Bin Yasir lay the foundation stone for the domestic gas station project in Al-Ghaydah

Today, Monday, the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Mr. Abdul Salam Ba Abboud, Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, Chairman of the Local Council, Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, laid the foundation stone for the model home gas station project financed by the Yemeni Gas Company
Minister Baaboud indicated that laying the foundation stone for this project comes under the auspices of His Excellency Field Marshal Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic, stressing that it will be a strategic project for Al-Mahra Governorate and will work to support the local economy and alleviate the suffering of citizens and reduce the occurrence of domestic gas cuts
For his part, the executive director of the Yemeni Gas Company, Engineer Anwar Hassan, indicated that this government station will feed the Al-Mahra governorate, especially the city of Al-Ghaydah, the capital of the province and its environs.

Indicating that the station will take into account the population expansion in the future, whether the local population or displacement, in a way that leads to stability in the important food supply for citizens.
Stressing that the project comes with government funding from the Yemeni Gas Company, indicating that the initial capacity will be 100 tons and that it will increase in the future to 200 tons, in a manner that meets the needs of the governorate.
And it created stability in the matter of gas, as it is affiliated with the state-owned Yemeni Gas Company, taking into account prices and working to provide permanent and continuous service to the citizen.
