The Minister of Oil and Minerals supports and meets the needs of Seiyun University

His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Mr. Abdul Salam Baaboud, supported Seiyun University during his visit to the headquarters of the College of Administrative Sciences at the university with the Deputy of Hadramout for the Valley and Desert Directorates Affairs, Professor Essam Al-Kathiri. Minister Baaboud was received by the university presidency represented by Dr. Muhammad Ashour Al-Kathiri.
Minister Baaboud inspected the university building and looked at the various departments, praising the pioneering role that the university presidency plays with the local authority in achieving successive achievements in improving the quality of academic education and developing the infrastructure in line with international standards.
Pointing to His Excellency the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour, in the education sector in the same regard, he gave it great importance, providing all means of support and overcoming the obstacles that impede the continuation of education.
The minister affirmed his support for the university and meeting its needs by providing buses for transportation and computers, as a contribution to the Ministry’s objectives that it seeks to implement.
For his part, University President Dr. Muhammad Ashour Al-Ameri welcomed the visit of His Excellency the Minister Professor Abdul Salam Baaboud to the university’s edifice, which comes to confirm the interconnectedness that the government and the Ministry of Oil and Minerals seek in particular to support social development and the priority is education.
He expressed his thanks for the initiative of His Excellency Minister Baaboud for his initial support by providing buses for transportation and computers, which will alleviate the suffering of students and give assurance that the government will stand by them and overcome all difficulties and obstacles.
The minister was accompanied by the first undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, Eng. Shawqi Al-Mikhlafi, and the Undersecretary of Hadramout Governorate, Sheikh Salem bin Sharman, Dr. Anwar Hassan, Executive Director of the Yemeni Gas Company, Engineer Ghaleb Mabkhout bin Muayli, Acting Executive Director of the Yemeni Oil Company, and Director General of External Relations at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, Mr. Raed Yunus And the directors of the Yemeni Oil Company in Hadramout governorate are Mr. Abdulrahman Belfas and Dr. Khaled Al-Akbari.
