The Minister of Oil and the Undersecretary of Wadi Hadramout lay the foundation stone for the two projects of the gas station and the strategic storage of the oil company in the valley

His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Minerals Mr. Abdul Salam Abdullah Ba Abboud and the Undersecretary of Hadramout Governorate for the Valley and Desert Directorates Issam Habrish Al Kathiri laid the foundation stone for the two projects of the gas station and strategic storage of the Yemeni Oil Company, Wadi and Desert Branch, under the patronage of His Excellency Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces

His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Minerals stated that these two projects represent a strategic importance that the Ministry of Oil seeks through the Yemeni Gas Company and the Yemeni Oil Company to implement, based on the directives of His Excellency Field Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic, who stressed that members of the new government work to implement projects that will contribute to Reducing the suffering of citizens in obtaining basic services.
Baaboud stressed on the Yemeni Gas and Oil Company the importance of starting directly in implementing the works of these projects, praising the efforts of the local authority in the valley and the desert in preparing for this project.

In turn, Hadhramaut Governorate’s Undersecretary for Valley and Desert Directorates Issam Habrish Al-Kathiri explained that the leadership of the local authority puts these two projects among its priorities among the strategic projects that will work on a sustainable treatment of the disruption in the supply of the local market with gas and oil derivatives.
Dr. Anwar Salem Hassan, Executive Director of the Yemeni Gas Company, indicated that the gas station project includes the construction of a domestic gas filling facility with a capacity of 12-24 thousand cylinders per shift in addition to the establishment of strategic storage units that work to secure the provision of oil derivatives to the Hadramout Valley and the surrounding areas.
