The Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority signs a mining exploration agreement with China” Guangdo”

the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority, Eng. Ahmed Abdullah Yamani Al-Tamimi, and the Director General of the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority, Hadramout Branch, Eng. Salah Ahmad Babhair, signed today at the headquarters of the Authority in the temporary capital Aden, a mining exploration agreement for black sand ore with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Black Horse Mining Company WANG DENG FENG in the Eastern Rayda region, within the directions of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, and the Authority’s plan to divide mineralization areas into investment blocks, and to support mineral investments.

As the cost of the exploration project, according to the company’s submitted plan, amounted to about one million US dollars, and the project will contribute to studying one of the blocks that were divided according to the mineral ore, determining the ore reserve at the study site with core drilling, and conducting preliminary tests and semi-industrial experiments by separation.

Al-Yamani explained that these blocks, which were divided according to the mineral ore, within the study areas that the Survey Authority conducted, Hadramout Branch, based on studies of foreign missions during the seventies of the last century, which comes within the directions of the Chinese company to invest in the field of mining with the geographical scope of the activity of the Hadramout branch.
The company’s board chairman confirmed that the company will work with all its energy and seriously and with modern technology followed in this mineral field, and it will carry out studies of the blocks licensed by the branch of the Authority, and submit the results to the Commission, and in light of the results, the company will determine the work program for future work in this field.

The Chairman of the Authority congratulated the branch of the Authority and the Chinese company for signing this agreement, which is in the public interest of mineral investment.
The signing was attended by the Deputy Director General of the Aden branch, Ms. Ibtisam Aqlan, and the Director of the Evaluation and Promotion Department, Engineer Muhammad Al-Maazi.
