HE Minister Awas Alawad TV Interview on Al-Ghad Al-Mashreq Channel

Wadea Mansour, the well-known media figure, organized in his program a special interview with Dr. Awas Alawad, Oil and Minerals Minister. He disclosed that the Ministry of Oil and Minerals had been exerting efforts in order to resume the production of oil products over the last two years. Asserting that 5 giant oil companies would return to Yemen to resume their oil activities after the war, he emphasized that Ma’erb possesses 9 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. He further elaborated on the causes behind the crisis of oil derivatives shortage in Yemen. He stated that there are investment offers submitted by major US companies to invest in Yemen in the field of oil and gas.
